DALLAS – Oct. 12, 2021 – Kimberly-Clark announced today that it has ranked among the top employers named to the Forbes list of World’s Best Employers 2021. Of the thousands of companies eligible for the recognition, only 750 were selected for the World’s Best Employer title, which is Forbes’ most prestigious international employer accolade.
Companies on the Forbes World’s Best Employers list were chosen based on globally administered independent surveys covering a vast sample of roughly 150,000 employees from 58 countries. Employees were asked how likely they were to recommend their company to friends and family, and which organizations they would choose in addition to their own.
"We are honored to be named as one of the world’s best employers by Forbes," said Sandi Karrmann, Senior Vice President & Chief Human Resources Officer at Kimberly-Clark. “Kimberly-Clark offers an inclusive and caring environment that enables talented people to grow and pursue rewarding careers, work with iconic brands, and positively impact the lives of consumers around the world. Being named to this list reflects the company’s commitment to creating a workplace where all employees have the opportunities and support they need to achieve success in their professional and personal lives.”
Inclusion in Forbes’ World’s Best Employers list is the latest in a series of workplace honors that the company has received. Over the past year, Kimberly-Clark has been named one of Fortune's World's Most Admired Companies, Forbes’ America's Best Employers for Diversity, Barron's 100 Most Sustainable Companies and Working Mother's Best Companies for Multicultural Women.
In addition, the company was recognized on the 2021 Global RepTrak® 100, the definitive ranking of corporate reputation for the world’s leading companies, the Purpose Power Index, the first empirical measure of companies that activate purpose at the core of their business, and the Seramount (formerly Working Mother Media) Inclusion Index, which recognizes high-performing companies that are setting the standard for workplace diversity, equity and inclusion.
