Kimberly-Clark Partners with United Way of Metropolitan Dallas to Improve Black Maternal Health

Across Texas, Black women die from pregnancy-related causes at two to three times the rate of white women. Meanwhile, Black newborns are more than twice as likely to die in their first year compared to white newborns. 90% of these deaths are preventable. Kimberly-Clark has teamed up with United Way of Metropolitan Dallas to create Doorways to Health, an initiative that leverages resources and programming from local community organizations to maximize quality and access to maternal healthcare for local families.
